ACTION PLAN

Objective I

Mitigate negative effects of boating on the health of the lakes

• Promote the voluntary code of conduct with respect to boating on the lakes
• Educate members about the effects of boating on the health of the lakes and how to navigate to minimize human impact on the lakes
• Educate members for safe driving on our lakes
• Accompany the divers to remove Eurasian Watermilfoil
• Monitor the lakes to be sure that there’s no spreading of Eurasian Watermilfoil

 

Objective II

Inform members about the protection of the lakes

• Test the water quality of the lakes and their tributaries during the summer (RSVL)
• Continue to update and develop the association's website
• Share with members the results of the studies and tests performed by the association

Objective III

Sign up members and offer them services

• Offer a rebate for our members on well water testing with H2Labs Ste-Agathe
• Offer a rebate for our members for septic tank drainage
• Representating the APLC at Lantier city Council meetings to watch our interests.
